Pyra Stone is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with integrity throughout our supply chain.

 

We recognise our responsibility to ensure that workers involved in the extraction, manufacture and supply of our natural stone products are treated fairly, safely and with respect.

 

Pyra Stone expects all suppliers, subcontractors and business partners to comply with the following principles:

 

Employment Standards

- No use of child labour.

- No forced, bonded or involuntary labour.

- Workers must be free to leave employment upon reasonable notice.

- All employees must receive fair wages in accordance with local laws.

 

Working Conditions

- Safe and hygienic working environments must be provided.

- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be supplied where required.

- Working hours must comply with local legislation.

 

Equality & Respect

- No discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, disability or nationality.

- No harassment, abuse or intimidation.

 

Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are encouraged to minimise environmental impacts through:

- responsible quarrying,

- waste reduction,

- recycling,

- water management,

- and energy efficiency.

 

Supplier Compliance

Pyra Stone reserves the right to:

- request evidence of compliance,

- review supplier working conditions,

- and discontinue relationships where serious breaches are identified.
